About Me
Choosing the right therapist is important, and can be intimidating. My approach is collaborative and strengths-based, ranging from practical coping skills to deeper inner work, depending on what appeals to you. I love helping people get beyond their symptoms to bring more meaning and possibility into their lives.
I have been practicing as a licensed clinical social worker since 1999, initially at a community mental health center, and then private practice since 2004. While my initial training was psychodynamic, My clinical viewpoint is largely informed by Jungian theory, as I find it to be a rich deep model for understanding our experiences. I also greatly value and utilize the helpful techniques and strategies provided by cognitive-behavioral and mindfulness based theories.
